Two Salty Okes mission is to shatter the silence surrounding Cystic Fibrosis and empower a future where the disease is widely understood in hopes of inclusivity and a cure.
Two Salty Okes was created based on two brothers both having Cystic Fibrosis. Salty is a part of its name due to those affected having rapid production of salt due to a mutation on the CFTR gene making their skin salty. Oke- is the Urban name for African American male and since there is an extreme need to break barriers in health equity for BIPOC we made it apart of the name!
